I have been a writer for a long time. Poetry has always been my true love since I was ten years old. Over the years I dabbled in flash fiction, short fiction and non-fiction. Ten years ago I attempted a novel which found its way under a stack of papers. Yes, I had started writing it by hand…on that illusive material called “paper.”

Over a year ago, I joined a local writer’s group who have changed my life. I began by sharing poetry, but quickly felt the urge to dig that old started novel out. There were an original seven chapters which needed so much work but this group of writers encouraged me to keep going. As of today I am about 30k from the finish line and feeling like I might actually want to publish this work.

Life had thrown me many curve balls. Deaths. Failed relationships. Career changes. The last few years has been about picking up the pieces. Writing had alluded me in my stages of grief, but I am back to putting words on the screen at full force in both poetry, short fiction, and long fiction. It occurred to me that I needed a proper author’s website. So, here it is. Enjoy.
